About Vanessa and Fluttering Designs: I was born on a Canadian Forces Base in Lahr, Germany in August of 1980. Being a military brat, I was granted the unique opportunity to experience and explore Canada, as my family moved to various Central and Eastern cities across the nation.
Fluttering Designs' jewelry combines structure and design with magic and whimsy. I use a combination of sacred gemstones and crystals, glass, seed beads, and other materials to create one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. When I'm not working on my jewelry designs, I enjoy playing the guitar, listening to and appreciating music of all kinds, and seeking wisdom through oracle decks, meditation, and energy healing. I also take time out to spend quality time with my family, my good friends, and my three cats, Thor, Freya and Odin.
